Summer 2010 Pt.1
So I went to Puerto Rico this past summer. I brought along the Bronica and some expired film (which is the reason why some photos are super grainy/weird tones) and now I have these: (Enjoy)
My family that I stayed with for a few days
Melanie was the poodle that no one (except for me) seemed to like...
See?
We headed into Old San Juan, and checked out the fortress El Morro
Nice
El Morro
There were hundreds of these guys, all HUGE, running around parts of the fortress. I seriously think they took it over.
We left San Juan and stayed with my other aunt in Rincon.
Basically, this was paradise
Me being dumb
My aunt and cousin had this cute thing at their place. Her name is Sarita. She really loves going to the beach and playing in the water. It is really funny and awesome!
Kim has a friend (Eny) that is from PR and comes during the summer, so we planned on staying with her and her family for a few days too.
Here they are
Eny's dad was really into rock and roll (Kim says last time she visited, they only listened to Queen \m/) and he painted the wall in our room to look like the Van Halen stripes. Oh yeah, and he had those funny face pillows too.
Las NiƱas
We went to one of the popular beaches there, called "Crashboat"
It had this really cool concrete path block thing that went out a bit into the water, and was about 6 feet high. So, it was a very popular thing for people to be jumping off it. BUT, you had to prove yourself by scaling around these yellow barricades. This photo is the end of the concrete path.
Ian (Eny's hermano) jumps off the yellow barricade.
On our last day in PR, we went and visited Eny's grandparents on their ranch.
Eny's GPa showing us a horse
Mr.Goat
Ummm...Mr.Goat 2?
Another one
Their "pet" chicken
I couldn't believe this, but we were walking around the neighborhood, and this (little girl that Eny knows or something) tells us she had just gotten a new puppy. I almost died when I saw Sassy, the puppy schnauzer. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
And that's it for the PR trip.
More photos are coming soon. Stay tuned.
